- What a great concept, letting off a small oversight: CloudApp desktop client running on the Mac only. Thank goodness then for Richard Wang: this Australian has moved quickly to fill the large gap by providing an equivalent tool for Windows users. FluffyApp provides a similar function, although from the Taskbar notification area rather than the Taskbar itself. Just drag the file onto the program icon to download them (click the icon the program for an update on the upload process or cancelled for whatever reason). Upon completion, FluffyApp put a URL to the file in the clipboard, ready to paste into email or chat tools. Just like the official version, Mac, FluffyApp can also be used to share a screen grab: configuration functions from the program’s options dialog (select hotkeys). The program is still in beta, so expect some stability problems running it, and remember that you will also need an account CloudApp to use it: a free account allows you to upload up to 10 files per day, with 25MB limit per file. Upgrade to Pro version ($ 5/month) for unlimited updates at a maximum of 250 MB per file.
