VirtualBox 4.3.8 RC1 - Main Features
- The module. VirtualBox is extremely modular design with internal regulations, programming interfaces and designing client/server. This makes it easy to control it from the interface at the same time: for example, you can start a virtual machine in a typical virtual machine graphical interface and then control that machine from the command line, or maybe from a distance. VirtualBox also comes with a full Software Development Kit: even though it is open source software, you don't have to hack the source to write a new interface for VirtualBox.
- Introducing virtual machine in XML. The virtual machine's configuration settings are stored entirely in XML and does not depend on the local machine. Virtual machine definitions can therefore easily be ported to other computers.
